About the event: An evening of Science, Comedy & Connection. We invite you to join the Canadian Positive Psychology Association on Friday, July 14th in Montreal, Quebec for an evening of humour that promises to be filled with insight, positive emotion and well-being. A true PERMA-V experience!




WHAT: A TED Talk-style presentation on the science of humour and three fantastic comedians

Conference Refund & Cancellation Policy


Speakers who are unable to attend the conference have all agreed, as part of the proposal submission are required to suggest available and qualified replacements in their area of study to present the submission as described in their abstract. CPPA will also endeavor to assist them in finding a replacement. CPPA has the final say on conference presenters.

If a registrant is unable to attend an event for any reason they may substitute someone else, by arrangement with the conference manager.

Where the registrant is unable to attend, and is not in a position to transfer their registration to someone else then the following refund arrangements apply:

·         Registrations (presenter or registrants) cancelled more than 30 days before the event will be refunded
       90% of the  registration fees.

·       Registrations (presenter or registrants) cancelled less than 30 days before the event will not be
        eligible for a refund.

·       Cancellations from registrants made after a failed visa application or if they are not allowed to enter
        the country will be refunded full registration fees. If the individual is a presenter, their abstract and bio
        will still be published in the conference app and other locations where such presentations are
        displayed.
