Workshop 5:

Present Positive: How Coaches and Their Clients Can Leverage the Psychology of Presence to Improve their Performance

Presented by:

Shannon Polly

Abstract:

Social scientists have researched for decades how people influence each other, through words and body language. This workshop will help teach coaches techniques and exercises to improve their verbal and non-verbal influencing skills; internal and external presence; self-presence as a coach and tools to share with clients to help them develop and build and convey their own presence.  The approach is from two vantage points - the external and the internal aspects of presence.
