Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Members


This meeting is for CPPA members in good standing only. 

 

Agenda:

• To receive the report of the directors and the accounts for the year ended 2012. A copy of the accounts will be available for review in the members-only section of the CPPA website prior to the Annual General Meeting.
• To re-elect the members of the Board of Directors
• To re-appoint Tator, Rose & Leong as the auditers of the CPPA
• To approve the bylaws of the CPPA. A copy of the bylaws will be available for review in the members-only section of the CPPA website prior to the Annual General Meeting.

A member entitled to attend and vote at the meeting is entitled to appoint a proxy to vote, and attend, instead of him/her. A proxy need not be a member of CPPA.

 

Immediately afterwards there will be an educational event open to the public led by Greg Evans entitled, “Lesser known Positive Psychology Strategies and Insights”.  Please invite your friends and follow this link to register.


Conference Refund & Cancellation Policy


Speakers who are unable to attend the conference have all agreed, as part of the proposal submission are required to suggest available and qualified replacements in their area of study to present the submission as described in their abstract. CPPA will also endeavor to assist them in finding a replacement. CPPA has the final say on conference presenters.

If a registrant is unable to attend an event for any reason they may substitute someone else, by arrangement with the conference manager.

Where the registrant is unable to attend, and is not in a position to transfer their registration to someone else then the following refund arrangements apply:

·         Registrations (presenter or registrants) cancelled more than 30 days before the event will be refunded
       90% of the  registration fees.

·       Registrations (presenter or registrants) cancelled less than 30 days before the event will not be
        eligible for a refund.

·       Cancellations from registrants made after a failed visa application or if they are not allowed to enter
        the country will be refunded full registration fees. If the individual is a presenter, their abstract and bio
        will still be published in the conference app and other locations where such presentations are
        displayed.
