Host: Jessica Elmazi, University of Calgary

Description: Today’s world can be busy. Humans are often on the move and onto the next phase of life, without fully appreciating the present moment. Introducing a mindful movement practice to your day-to-day life can help bring about moments of peace and happiness within movement. Moving mindfully, through running, walking, yoga or any other movement-based activity, can create a stronger mind-body connection, lower the stress of everyday life, and create moments of wellbeing. This webinar will explore the current research and various strategies and tools to help you create a mindful movement practice that fits into your life.
