The Canadian Positive Psychology Association (CPPA) and Workplace Strategies for Mental Health, compliments of Canada Life, are thrilled to announce the winners of the 2025 Canadian Workplace Well-Being Awards.
This national award program celebrates Canadian organizations that demonstrate outstanding commitment to workplace well-being, employee mental health, and psychological safety. Fourteen organizations were recognized this year for fostering cultures where employees feel supported, valued, and able to thrive.
“Every year, we’re inspired by the creativity, compassion, and commitment of Canadian workplaces that prioritize mental health and well-being,” said Louisa Jewell, President of the CPPA. “These organizations are proof that when well-being is built into the foundation of workplace culture, everyone, from employees to leadership to the wider community, benefits.”
Beyond recognition, the awards foster collaboration by connecting organizations to share insights and best practices.
“What’s even more exciting than recognizing excellence is seeing a growing network of workplace well-being champions across Canada,” said Kim Rigden, Chair of the Canadian Workplace Well-Being Awards. “By creating opportunities for organizations to learn from one another, we’re helping to elevate workplace culture nationwide.”
Research shows that investing in employee well-being leads to measurable gains in engagement, innovation, productivity, and psychological safety, while strengthening the long-term health of employees.
“Each of these organizations are modelling a healthier, more sustainable vision of work,” said Mary Ann Baynton, Director of Collaboration and Strategy at Workplace Strategies for Mental Health. “In these tough economic times, it’s encouraging to see leaders embracing strategies that not only support employee well-being but also strengthen organizational resilience and success.”
